Custom Welcome and Notification Message Defaults

Within the general settings < general tab, administrators can setup custom messages to display for the login and signup sections of the landing page.  Admins can also setup the pop-up welcome message that displays upon a user activating their account for the first time.  Lastly, administrators can customize the system generated email notification messages that are sent to users who establish new accounts within a closed community.  If you do not specify your own custom messages, the defaults are used; and a list of those are below:

Custom Messages for all Communities:

 

Login Page Message  (The message that displays on the login, landing page)

Signup Page Message  (The message that displays on the signup, landing page)

Account Activation Welcome Message  (The message that displays within the community the first time a user logins, directly after activating their account)

Closed Communities have the following additional custom message options:

Account Activations Requiring Approval  (The email a user receives informing them that their new account creation will require a community administrator to approve it, before they have full access to the community)

 

Your request to join the <client name> community has been sent

In the meantime, you have limited access until our team approves your request.

Account Rejection Message  (The message that the user receives after a community administrator rejects their new account creation)
