Applicability of This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to 360Alumni's online member engagement and fundraising platform and professional services (the “Services”), 360Alumni.com and other interactions (e.g., customer service inquiries, etc.) you may have with 360Alumni. If you do not agree with the terms, do not access or use the Services, Websites or any other aspect of 360Alumni's business.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third party applications or software that integrate with the Services through the 360Alumni platform, or any other third party products, services or businesses. In addition, a separate client agreement governs delivery, access and use of the Services (typically, the “Customer Terms of Service”), including the processing of any messages, files or other content submitted through user accounts (collectively, “User Data”).
The organization (e.g., your college or organization you are affiliated with, herein referred to as "Client") that entered into the client agreement controls their instance of the Services (their “Instance”) and any associated User Data. If you have any questions about specific Instance settings and privacy practices, please contact the Client whose Instance you use. If you have an account, you can check the footer of any page in your online community for contact information of your Instance owner(s) and administrator(s). If you have received an invitation to join an Instance but have not yet created an account, you should request assistance from the Client that sent the invitation.
Information We Collect and Receive
360Alumni receives, collects and stores information about you and other users to provide the Services that our Clients, you and our other users request. We may obtain personal information about you from the following sources:

Usage Information: Your use of 360Alumni Services, including website pages visited on the 360Alumni website. More specifically:
How We Use Information
The Profile Information and Engagement History we collect, combined with our software platform, lets our clients provide a private online community and interactive directory to their constituents. Constituents can include alumni, members, current participants or students, staff, employers or others, as designated in our client’s community guidelines. These guidelines should also explain the approval process for new members.
Your personal information may be displayed to other members of the community, depending on our client’s default privacy settings on individual profile fields. As a user, you can override these defaults at any time to make the information visible only to our client administrators.
We only use credit card and other financial information you provide for fundraising transactions or other financial transactions you request and do not store or share this information for future use.
We collect usage information about your computer hardware, software, IP address, browser type, domain name, access time, referring website address and other similar technical information for operation of the 360Alumni service, to maintain and improve the quality of the service, and to provide general usage statistics regarding the 360Alumni website. 360Alumni also tracks your engagement on some pages and features to determine which of our services are most popular.

If Information is aggregated or de-identified so it is no longer reasonably associated with an identified or identifiable natural person, 360Alumni may use it for any business purpose. To the extent Information is associated with an identified or identifiable natural person and is protected as personal data under applicable data protection law, it is referred to in this Privacy Policy as “User Data.”
Use of Cookies
The 360Alumni website uses cookies to help personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by 360Alumni’s web server. Each cookie stores a different type of information for a different purpose.
360Alumni uses cookies to provide convenience features to you. For example, if you don’t want to log in every time you visit the site, a cookie enables us recall your specific information on future visits.
As part of our GDPR Compliance initiative, you will have the ability to accept or decline cookies when you visit a site hosted by 360Alumni. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline our cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of 360Alumni’s websites.
Access, Update, and Correction of Personal Information
Upon your request, 360Alumni will provide you with information about what personal information we hold regarding you. You may view, update, correct or delete most of your Profile Data by logging into your 360Alumni account and navigating to "Edit Profile" .
Upon your request, 360Alumni will correct, delete or supplement your personal information as long as such action is allowed under applicable law, and such action is technically feasible, does not compromise 360Alumni’s legal obligations, and does not impose an undue burden or expense. To request access, correction or deletion, please email support@360Alumni.com.
Data Retention
If your account becomes inactive or you choose to cancel your account, 360Alumni will retain your information as necessary to comply with 360Alumni’s legal obligations, to resolve known or reasonably anticipated disputes, and enforce or defend 360Alumni’s contractual rights. 360Alumni retains User Data and Usage Information for all community members in accordance with a Client's instructions, including any applicable terms in the Client Agreement and as required by applicable law.
The termination of a Client relationship may result in the deletion and/or de-identification of the Client's associated User Data. 360Alumni may retain Usage Information pertaining to you for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. This may include keeping Usage Information after you have deactivated your account for the period of time needed for 360Alumni to pursue legitimate business interests, conduct audits, comply with (and demonstrate compliance with) legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
How We Share and Disclose Information
We do not sell your personal information. In addition, we do not share your personal information with anyone other than the Client(s) who provided your information to us without your consent.
If you perform a fundraising transaction or other financial transaction on our site, we securely transmit your credit card information or other financial information to our payment processor and/or other institutions as necessary to complete the requested transaction.
From time to time, 360Alumni may provide anonymous information to trusted partners regarding use of the 360Alumni site for purposes such as statistical analysis, mapping services, or social media feeds. This anonymous information is not personally identifiable and third parties who receive this anonymous information are prohibited from using your information except to provide services to 360Alumni.
360Alumni may disclose your information without your consent if 360Alumni has a good faith belief that disclosure is: (a) required by law, valid legal process, or applicable court order; (b) necessary to protect or defend the rights or property of 360Alumni or another person; or (c) to protect the personal safety of any person.
Security
360Alumni takes commercially reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, unauthorized disclosure, alteration and destruction. For example, when personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. 360Alumni does not store any credit card information and is compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
You may access your account information only through use of an individual user ID and password. To protect the confidentiality of personal information, you must keep your password confidential and not disclose it to any other person. Please advise us immediately if you believe your password has been misused. Please note that we will never ask you to disclose your password in an unsolicited phone call or email.
No security protocols are 100% effective. 360Alumni cannot guarantee your information, including your personal information, will not be accessed by unauthorized third parties. If 360Alumni becomes aware of any breach of personal information affecting you, 360Alumni will notify you promptly. In the event of a breach, 360Alumni is prepared to respond with all commercially reasonable and appropriate measures.
Opt-Out and Unsubscribe
We respect your privacy and give you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving email marketing communications from our clients, as well as messages from other community members. You can have your account turned off at any time by contacting an administrator in your community. Some system-generated notifications can not be turned off, such as receipts for event registrations or transactions or password reset requests.
Links to Third Party Websites and Services
There are links to external websites and services posted and shared in your 360Alumni community. 360Alumni does not control those third party websites and we encourage you to review the privacy notices of those websites so you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. 360Alumni is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of those third party websites.
Age Limitations
360Alumni Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you learn that anyone younger than 16 has unlawfully provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will takes steps to delete such information promptly.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
360Alumni may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Laws, regulations and industry standards evolve, which may make those changes necessary, or we may make changes to our business. We will post the changes to this page and encourage you to review our Privacy Policy to stay informed. If we make changes that materially alter your privacy rights, 360Alumni will provide additional notice, such as via email or through the Services. If you disagree with the changes to this Privacy Policy, you should deactivate your Services account. Contact the Client if you wish to request the removal of Personal Data under their control.

Identifying the Data Controller and Processor
Data protection law in certain jurisdictions differentiates between the “controller” and “processor” of information. In general, the Client is the controller of User Data (Profile Data and Engagement Data). 360Alumni, LLC, an American company based in Connecticut, USA, is, in general, the processor of User Data and the controller of Usage Information relating to Authorized Users who use Instances established for clients located anywhere in the world. .
Your Rights
Individuals located in certain countries, including the European Economic Area, have certain statutory rights in relation to their personal data. Subject to any exemptions provided by law, you may have the right to request access to Information, as well as to seek to update, delete or correct this Information.
