What to Consider When Branding Your Community Space
Here are the specifications for the Brand Assets used on the platform:
We ask that you provide these to us as soon as possible for the initial set-up of the platform:
Any branding guidelines that your institution has established including logo and colors. We will apply your institution’s scheme to your alumni community website to be consistent with your branding.
Your brand design colors and/or preferred colors in HEX code: These will be used to theme the platform.
The areas that we will brand to your colors are as follows:
Header background color
Page background color
Main menu text, hover text, background, hover background and dropdown border
Button and Links background and background hover
Block areas such as border color and title.
Tip: You can update any of your brand assets, including your landing page imagery anytime using the Theme Editor. You must have administrator rights to access the Theme Editor. KB article at www.360alumni.com/support/theme-editor
You will need a rectangular community logo for desktop and tablet. It should be as large as possible, with an aspect ratio (rectangular proportion) of 250:87. This must be a transparent background .png to ensure that it looks good. Image files in JPG and GIF formats tend to get blurry when resized.
For mobile, you will need a square community logo. Typically a symbol or up to 3 letters will fit. This should also be a transparent .png
The landing page logo image should be a transparent image file, landscape orientation, and at least 1280 x 720 pixels
