How to use 360Alumni: a quick start guide

Welcome to 360Alumni! We're happy to have you. 360Alumni is where your community can connect through the alumni directory, share updates, build relationships, and take part in groups, events, opportunities, memberships, and more.

Use this guide to get familiar with the main areas of your community. The features you see may vary based on what your organization has enabled.

Use the sidebar

The sidebar is your main navigation menu. Use it to access your account and the features available in your community.

1. Select your profile at the top of the navigation menu to open your account settings.
2. Add or update information on your profile, such as your contact details, education, career information, and interests.
3. Set your privacy preferences to control what other community members can see.
4. Update your notification and localization preferences, including the language, time zone, and notifications you want to receive.
5. Select Connect to access the alumni directory and map. Search for people using profile information such as location, class year, employer, or interests.
6. Save searches as lists for use in building groups or organizing events. Administrators can use Smart Lists and Static Lists to support alumni database management and send Email Marketing campaigns.

At the bottom of the sidebar, you can access the Knowledge Base, open or close the sidebar, and sign out.

Find your way around

Use the breadcrumbs at the top of each page to see where you are in 360Alumni. Select a breadcrumb to return to an earlier page, including the homepage.

In the top-right corner, you can:

• Open Messaging to view and send conversations with other members.
• Use Quick Search to find people, Groups, Events, Opportunities, and other content in your community.

Explore your community

Depending on the features available to you, you may be able to access:

• Groups and Chapters to connect around shared interests, locations, affiliations, or activities.
• Events to discover, register for, and attend alumni events.
• Campaigns to support fundraising initiatives.
• Opportunities to browse or post jobs, volunteer roles, and other opportunities through your alumni job board.
• Memberships to purchase or manage membership benefits.
• Asks & Offers to ask for help, offer your experience, and build mentoring relationships.
• Showcases to explore community stories, achievements, and resources.

Join the conversation

Discussion boards help members share news, ask questions, and have conversations in the right context. You may find discussion boards on the homepage, in Groups, within Asks & Offers, and on Events and Campaigns.

Use these spaces to introduce yourself, share an update, ask for advice, or join a conversation with your alumni community.
